PRESENT CONTINUOUS VS. SIMPLE PRESENT
This exercise contain exercises that will enable students to reinforce the Present Continuous and Simple Present. It contains two exercises, a multiple choice exercise and a gap fill exercise.
Present Continuous or Present Simple
First, the students revise some adverbs and other time expressions that are used with either tenses, present simple or continous. Then, they practice the tenses, first separately and then together in the same exercise (so they have to decide wich one to use based on the hints provided with the sentences).
Garfield Talks: Everyday expressions & verb tense review
Online exercise featuring 15 pictures with 2 questions each, so 30 questions in total. The first question is always an expression in the first person, the second is a sentence describing the picture. This exercise combines reading skills, grammar skills and everyday vocabulary skills. Enjoy.
